Some links on UmrahApps earn us a commission. This page explains exactly how that works, in plain language.
How hotel links work
When you press “Check availability” on a hotel page, you are taken to a booking partner such as the hotel's own reservation system or a major booking site. If you complete a booking after following that link, we may receive a small commission from the partner.
It never changes your price
The rate you pay is the same as if you had gone to the partner directly. Commission comes out of the partner's margin, not your pocket. We do not add a booking fee.
How we choose what to list
Hotels are listed because they are relevant to pilgrims — proximity to the Haram, prayer facilities, family rooms — not because of the commission they pay. Sponsored placements are always labelled “Sponsored” or “Verified sponsor” and are kept visually separate from editorial listings.
Charities and donations
We take no commission and no platform fee on donations. Donation buttons lead directly to the organisation's own website, where the payment is completed.
